Opera Mini 6.5 and Mobile 11.5 Browser Update

Opera today released the latest update for their Mobile Interface, Opera Mini 6.5 and Opera Mobile 11.5 for Symbian Phones. The major feature included in this is the ability to track of data costs and savings while browsing through the web, which saves upto 90% of data cost.

After the great features found in that Android release of Opera Mini are now available for Symbian users. Opera Mobile 11.5 will now show you exactly how much data you have spent and saved. A dedicated page, easily accessible from the help menu inside the Opera Mobile, keeps count of how much data you are spending and saving !

Qt Powered New Foursquare App for Symbian !

Few days back Foursquare released a brand new version of 0.1.857 of their Foursquare Symbian Client based on Qt, features fresh new elegant UI, Notifications, Photo Uploads, Comments on check ins and more. It is now available on Nokia Store. Check out the App demo video on Nokia N8 after the jump.

YouTube Downloader v2.3 – Symbian

“YouTube Downloader” Version 2.3, Finally a fully working App that allows you to download YouTube videos directly into your phone. Previously there were many other Apps which showed that it will allow to download videos from YouTube from failed. They allowed just to stream videos.

How to Hack/Flash your Symbian Phone ?

Well, Now-a-days many users are upgrading their custom firmware for their respective Symbian Phones, and many are in the queue list to learn how to do so. So today I’m presenting you an easy tutorial on “How to Flash/Hack your Phone’s Firmware (Nokia -X6|5530|5800|5230|5233|N97|N97 Mini)”

This tutorial is applicable with all Symbian phones but the firmwares that i’ll provide here are only for Series 60 5Th Edition Phones. Till now, only Nokia C6’s firmware is available as custom firmware for s60v5 Phones. So till then enjoy 😉

You can use your custom firmware from any other site, just to show you all I’m providing some links of C6’s firmware here. Please Note, these firmwares are for the latest version of your phone models.
